About the Photographer

I have always had a vivid imagination. Over the years, I have taught myself drawing, writing, and CGI art as serious hobbies. I also always liked photography, although I did not actually try it myself until well after DSLR cameras had become popular. It was ultimately the incredible work of Don Komarechka that inspired me to purchase my first DSLR camera in 2019. Enchanted by the art of macro photography, I quickly outgrew my first camera, and invested in better equipment so that I could further develop my own style.

What I love about macro photography is the way it shows us such extraordinarily beautiful details which normally go unnoticed, yet they are around us all the time. In particular, I am drawn toward the vibrant colors and abstract patterns that can be created by droplets of water through interaction and refraction effects with light.
